Vijay in the remake of MGR starrer Enga Veettu Pillai

K.Selva Bharathy has planned to remake MGR starrer Enga Veettu Pillai which will have Vijay in the lead role.

Vijay is currently acting in the film Kaththi which is being directed by A R Murugadoss. Samantha, Neil Nitin Mukesh and others are starring in this film. This film which has the music of Anirudh is being produced Ayngaran International in association with Lyca Productions.

K.Selva Bharathy is a very close friend of Vijay. He has directed many films including Priyamaanavale and Vaseegara which had Vijay in the lead role.

Enga Veettu Pillai is a block buster hit film which had the legendary late hero M G R in the lead role. Selva Bharathy has now decided to remake this film which will have Vijay in the role which M G R had donned.

Director Selva Bharathy is holding talks with Vijay with regard to this. Vijay after completing Kaththi and a film with Chimbu Deven will allot his dates for this film.
