Slowly but surely, the seemingly secret voice cast of Big Hero 6, Marvel & Disney's first animated collaboration, is being revealed. So far T.J. Miller and Jamie Chung have surfaced with voice roles, and now The Wrap has word that "Saturday Night Live" veteran and Bridesmaids star Maya Rudolph will voice one of the lead roles. In addition, they've learned that Chung will voice a character named Go Go Tomago. However, Disney has yet to confirm any of these talents for roles in the film. Is there a chance the animated comic book adaptation is in trouble and may be delayed from the November 7th release date this year?
Don Hall and Chris Williams are co-directing the film, and all we've seen so far is a tease of the fictional setting San Fransokyo with no character designs or anything like that surfacing. Maybe Disney is holding off on a big reveal until Comic-Con this summer. Anyway, the film follows brilliant robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who finds himself in the grips of a criminal plot that threatens to destroy the fast-paced, high-tech city of San Fransokyo. With the help of his closest companion—a robot named Baymax—Hiro joins forces with a reluctant team of first-time crime fighters on a mission to save their city.
