Liam Neeson Writes Melodrama in First US Trailer for 'Third Person'

Third Person
Following an international trailer and domestic poster for Paul Haggis' latest drama Third Person, the first trailer for the film's undated release in the United States has arrived. Unfortunately, all it does is showcase more of the melodrama while building up the mystery of what will tie all these characters together. However, if we were to take a guess based on this trailer, it clearly has something to do with the story that Liam Neeson is working on. We get a bit more ofMila Kunis, Kim Basinger and Maria Bello in this trailer as well. We're still not sold on this film, but maybe the performances are good. Watch?
Here's the first US trailer for Paul Haggis' Third Person from YouTube
Third Person is written and directed by Paul Haggis (Crash, The Next Three Days) and follows three stories in Paris, Rome and New York, each with hidden connections between Michael (Liam Neeson), a writer whose latest manuscript has been refused, so he flies off to Paris to rethink his life, leaving his wife (Kim Basinger) behind in the States; Sean (Adrien Brody), who finds himself wandering Rome and befriending a Romanian woman in a bar; and Rick (James Franco), living in a tiny New York apartment with his son from a previous marriage and new girlfriend. Gradually, each one of these stories unveils its secrets, testifying to the whims and complexities of life. The film premiered at TIFF 2013, but does not have a US release date.
