The cast of Joe Wright's new adaptation of Pan already had some big roles cast with Garrett Hedlund as Hook, Hugh Jackman as Blackbeard and Rooney Mara as Tiger Lily, all surrounding relatively unknown young actor Levi Miller as the titular fantasy hero Peter Pan. Now more of the supporting cast has been revealed, and only one of them is a bigger name. Amanda Seyfried is the most recognizable new name to join the cast, taking the role of Mary. Otherwise there's Nonso Anozie, Kathy Burke, Jack Charles, Taejoo Na, Kurt Egyiawan, Lewis MacDougall & Leni Zieglmeier taking supporting roles. Read on!
Empire reveals the new cast members playing various parts that readers will recognize from the original tale with Charles as Tiger Lily’s chieftain father, Burke as Mother Barnabas, MacDougall as Nibs, Anozie as Bishop, Egyiawan as Murray and newcomer Zieglmeier taking the important role of Wendy Darling. Remember that this version of Pan basically serves as an origin story, where Hook isn't a villain for the orphan turned hero just yet, and the two team up to fight the villainous Blackbeard. With Wright behind the camera, this is one adaptation of a classic that we're certainly keeping our eye on. Sound good?
