Vikram Prabhu has signed for a village themed project with S Ezhil and it is heard that Sridivya would be cast opposite him.
The director says that the movie is a romantic drama set in a village near Thanjavur. He adds that he liked Vikram’s acting in Kumki and felt he would do justice to the character in this movie.
The crew began shooting on Tamil New Year Day in Sivaji Ganesan’s house for auspicious reasons. However, the actual shooting would commence in the month of May. Vikram is currently sporting a closeley cropped look for his movie Sigaram Thoduand the director wasnts him grow some hair to bring in the village look.
John Vijay plays the villain in the movie.
