Mark Strong Going Funny as Sacha Baron Cohen's Brother in 'Grimsby'

Mark Strong
After playing a cosmic superhero in Green Lantern, a villain for Robert Downey Jr. in Sherlock Holmes and a crime boss in Kick-Ass, British actor Mark Strong is heading back into the spy world, but this time with a comedy. Variety reports the Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy star is currently in talks to join the cast of Grimsby, an action comedy about a British black ops agent forced to go on the run with his long-lost brother, a northern English soccer hooligan. As expected, Strong will play the dashing secret agent brother to the soccer hooligan played by Sacha Baron Cohen, which makes for a rather interesting pairing. Read on!
Bridesmaids director Paul Feig is also working on his own spy comedy with Melissa McCarthy inSusan Cooper, where she'll be paired with action star Jason Statham for the film that arrives onMay 22nd, 2015. However, the two sound different enough to both exist peacefully in 2015, soSusan Cooper shouldn't really ruin the chances for Grimsby to succeed on Sony Pictures' planned release date of July 31st, 2015. The Incredible Hulk helmer Louis Leterrier is directing the film, so we know the action will be good, and we hope Cohen delivers some stellar comedy to go along with it. Sound good?
