Actress Oviya who made a sparkling debut with the 2010 super hit film ‘Kalavani’ celebrates her 23rd Birthday today (April 29).
Oviya was born in Thrishur and made her onscreen debut with Malayalm film ‘Kangaroo’ that released in 2007. After acting in a few other Malayalam flicks the young lass moved to Tamil film Industry.
Post ‘Kalavani’ she made a cameo appearance in Kamal Haasan’s ‘Manmadhan Ambu.’ In the year 2012 she acted as one of the heroines with Siva in the superhit comic caper ‘Kalakalappu’ directed by Sundar.C. Last year she acted in two critically acclaimed films ‘Mooadar Koodam’ and ‘Madha YanaiKoottam’ which was composer G.V.Prakash’s debut Production venture. She has been continuously acting Malayalam films in the meantime.
Oviya’s is expecting the release of horror film ‘Yaamirukka Bayame’ directed by K.V.Anand’s erstwhile assistant Deekay, since it has created strong pre release buzz.
